microFlow® System

The microFlow® System is a fully-integrated, programmable microfluidics workstation with low-pulse twist syringe pumps. Micronics' twist syringe pumps allow flow rates of 1-10,000 nanoliters per second. These low-pulse pumps help to ensure reliable, reproducible and accurate results. The microFlow® System comes complete with:

• User Manual
• Initial supply of Active Cards
• Programmable µScripts software - Windows based with Labview GUI
• MicroHydro™ Manifold - that fits the stage for most inverted microscopes for real-time analysis of fluids in flow

The microFlow® System has been shown to enable preparation of complex samples - including whole blood - for analysis or further chemical processing. The System is able to:

• Extract small molecular weight molecules and analytes (e.g., hormones and antibiotics) directly from whole blood and other particulate suspensions
• Function in < 5 minutes
• Operate easily on sample volumes from 5 to 200 microliters
• Conserve reagents / minimize labor
• Provide reproducible extractions at any concentration of analyte

• 64, 250 or 2300 µL. Each instrument comes with three pumps, with a fourth pump available as an option
